Add a shortcut to your Home Screen

You can add shortcuts to websites. Here's how to create an "app" for any website on your device, allowing you to access shortcuts directly from your home screen.

  • Tap the Share button at the bottom of the page.
  • Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  • Choose a name for the website.
  • Tap Add to create the shortcut.
  • Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
  • Choose a name for the website shortcut, then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
